Return & Exchange Policy

This Return & Exchange Policy outlines how customers of Fashionroots.ca, managed by IAM Fashion Consulting, may return or exchange purchased items. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • Return Period: You must request a return within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and returned in their original condition, including all original tags, labels, packaging, accessories, and security seals (if applicable).

  • Footwear: Must be returned in the original shoe box with all protective materials and placed inside shipping packaging.

  • Hygiene-sensitive items: Items such as swimwear, lingerie, and undergarments must be returned with original hygiene liners and tags intact.

  • Non-returnable items: Items marked as Final Sale or that fall under specific hygiene categories (e.g. cosmetics that have been opened, face masks, or intimate products) are not eligible for return or exchange.


2. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact Us at info@iamfashion.ca with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

  2. Once approved, we will provide you with a return authorization and instructions.

  3. Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging (or equivalent).

  4. Ship the item(s) to the return address provided in the return authorization email.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.


3. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to replace an item:

  1. Follow the return process above to receive a refund for the original item.

  2. Place a new order for the desired item, size, or color.


4. Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once returned items are received and inspected.

  • Refunds typically take 5 business days to process after receipt.

  • If the returned item does not meet our return conditions, it may be refused and returned to you at your own expense.

  • Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.


5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us at info@iamfashion.ca within 5 days of delivery.

  • Please include clear photos of the issue and your order number.

  • We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.


6. Return Abuse

Fashionroots.ca reserves the right to monitor return activity. Excessive or suspicious return behavior may result in refusal of future returns or suspension of service.


7. Policy Updates

We may update this Return & Exchange Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Effective Date.”
